5 Excuses That Won’t Fly in 2011

5 Excuses That Will Not Work in 2011

It’s 2011. Your old excuses for not getting in shape won’t work. As Dr. Evil (Austin Powers) said, ZIP IT! I don’t want to hear them anymore! Read em’, then haul your excuseless butt to the gym!

1. I have no time.

According to a story in a recent issue of Men’s Health magazine, Barack Obama works out for 45 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Obama doesn’t just play basketball either. Our new president stays fit to lead with cardio and weight lifting. He also says he wishes he could train 90 minutes a day. Have you ever seen what the daily schedule of a U.S. president looks like? If the busiest man in the world can train every day for 45 minutes a day, then what’s your excuse? ZIP IT! You ain’t got one!

2. It’s too expensive.

Getting in shape certainly is expensive… if you keep wasting hundreds of dollars, month after month on worthless “miracle” weight loss pills, internal cleansing gimmicks and “magic” potions that all claim to make you slim. Deceptive advertising and slick marketing for bogus diet aids is more rampant than ever. 2010 was the year of thewu-long tea scam, the acai berry scam, and, of course, the ubiquitous “cleansing” and “detox” gimmicks . Unless you put on your critical thinking cap and learn to investigate before you invest, then you’ll get scammed by 2011’s flavor of the year as well. Your quest for those elusive “6-pack” abs will not only continue to be expensive, you’ll go broke. Walking, jogging, calisthenics and body weight exercises are FREE. If you want to know what’s really expensive, tally up the cost of legitimate expenses like natural food, gym memberships, fitness education, dumbbells and so on, and compare that to your doctor’s bill when you’re sick.

3. No one will support me.

Experts on social influence say your income will be approximately equal to the average of your 5 closest friends. Not only do I think that’s pretty darn accurate, I also believe that your health is your greatest wealth, and your physical condition will be about equal to the average of your 5 closest friends. It’s a real challenge to stay positive, focused and active when you’re surrounded by critical people and negative influences. However, in 2011, lack of support is no longer a valid excuse. Online social networking is exploding (check out Twitter and Facebook ) and more IN PERSON friendships and associations are being made from an internet connection than ever before. Training buddies can be found online. Connect with them. Mentors and coaches are easily found online. Hire them. Support forums have been around for years. Use them. No support from your current friends? Stop whining, start reaching out and go make new ones. In 2011, support partners and new friends are just a click away.

4. I can’t lose weight because of my genetics.

The marvels of modern medical and biological research are astonishing. Our top scientists have mapped the human genome! In the past few years, numerous genes linked to obesity have been discovered. However, the obesity epidemic we’re facing today has only developed over the past 50 years and genetic mutations that lead to serious obesity are extremely rare. Genetic predisposition only means that you have a tendency. It’s when the genetics meet lifestyle and environment that the genes express themselves. If you have a family history of heart disease, is it smart to smoke, eat junk, be a stressed-out, type-A maniac and a couch potato? Well of course not, and it’s the same with obesity. If you have a tendency predisposing you towards obesity, you’d better be the person doing the MOST exercise, not the least. You’d better be the person paying the MOST attention to your nutrition. You’d better be the person with the healthiest lifestyle. But unfortunately, it’s usually the opposite. Most people throw up their arms in frustration saying, “what’s the use, I was dealt a bad hand.” Sorry. That won’t fly in 2011. The latest research says genetics are a factor, but a tendency is not a destiny!

5. I don’t know how.

The lamest excuse of them all in 2011 is “I don’t know how.” NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO DO ANYTHING UNTIL AFTER THEY HAVE ACTUALLY DONE IT! Ponder that for a while. You don’t need to know how at first. To get started, you only need to know WHAT… what is the goal? Setting well-formed goals is the master skill of success. Not wishy-washy resolutions that have no resolve behind them, but real goals. In writing. With emotional ooompf! As you continue to affirm, visualize and focus on your goal with clarity, belief, and expectation, your new goal or intention will be received by your subconscious. Once a goal is accepted into your subconscious mind, your brain, being a goal-seeking mechanism, will turn on your attention filters to seek out all the information you will ever need to reach your goal. It will also turn on an infallible navigation system to guide you to your goal like a torpedo to its target. As your brain guides your attention, your direction and your behavior, you will discover that today, in 2011, there is more good information, coaching and instruction available than ever before. And when you’ve activated that “success radar” in your brain by setting goals effectively, it’s not as hard to find honest, accurate and helpful HOW-TO advice as you might think. In fact, you found this webpage, so you’re doing pretty good right now, aren’t you?

No more excuses. In 2011, remember my Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Creed: You can either make excuses or get results, but you can’t do both!

“OPERATION MOTIVATION” – too good to miss

If you’ve been with us for very long, you’ve noticed that I am not the bandwagon type when it comes to recommending products. It’s not just because I am picky about what I approve, it’s because I’ve reviewed many programs and systems that just don’t hold enough true value. This is one opportunity that I am fully behind and strongly support. This is the solution for anyone, male or female, who has ever fallen off the workout wagon or succumbed to diet relapse, binges or just too much over-indulgence.

It’s called, “OPERATION MOTIVATION”, a simple system that gives you a proven, practical and scientifically-verified solution to every type of motivation problem and “I CAN”T STICK WITH IT” problem.

If you’ve ever been stumped, baffled, frustrated or downright MAD because you just couldn’t motivate yourself to get up early and hit the gym or eat healthy meals consistently all week long, then this is something you do NOT want to miss.

“Operation Motivation” is the latest from fat loss expert, Tom Venuto. Inside the 7 special PDF ebooks and reports, you’ll learn exactly HOW to setup a motivational propulsion system, and why you need to get your mind working for you before you even start a diet or workout program.

Tom should know. Not only is he one of the most respected fat loss and nutrition experts in the industry today, he is also a META level Neuro-Linguistic-Programming Master, having studied under some of the top motivation and psychology mentors in the world. This isn’t pop psychology, mumbo-jumbo. It’s scientifically-confirmed
strategies for building a motivational plan for life.

So when a guy like Tom speaks about motivation, you definitely want to hear what he has to say. This is a small sampling of what you’ll learn from him:

* MOTIVATIONAL PROPULSION SYSTEMS: How to program your mind to
automatically and habitually exercise your body (If this doesn’t
light a FIRE under your butt, nothing will).

* THE NEW VISUALIZATION BREAKTHROUGH: Take advantage of the
mind-body connection with the techniques sports psychologists have
been teaching for decades, along with 1 new twist.

* SUCCESS SEMANTICS: The psychological explanation for how Words
can enhance or destroy your health and how to turn failure talk
into success talk.

* THE GOAL ACHIEVER’S SECRET WEAPON: How a cheap little “tool” can
install positive success programming into your mind.

* END EMOTIONAL EATING: Eating to cope with stress, depression or
other feelings, or eating for the wrong reasons can totally
undermine the best nutrition plan. Learn the 5-step formula to stop
it once and for all.

* SELF IMAGE SECRETS: How the hidden image you hold of yourself in
your mind is the prime reason for diet sabotage (and the same
reason that 90% of lottery winners blow their winnings).

From now until Midnight (PST), July 17th,
you can get a copy of the “Operation Motivation” bonuses in PDF ebook transcripts when you purchase Tom’s Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle e-book from:

Tom and I set high standards because there is such a lack of high quality products for fitness seekers and bodybuilders.

I can tell you without hesitation that Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is 100% real. The testimonials and results are absolutely phenomenal, verified, and undeniable. It hasn’t been a best-seller since 2003 for no reason.

The people behind it are part of the “quiet giants” club. Far different from the “boys club” or brat pack, this club is reserved only for the best and brightest among us – people who succeed time and time again.

On the few occasions that I do promote, it is because I’ve picked the rare finds we think is one of the most important, if not THE most important tools you should own.

Take a look at the offer Tom Venuto is holding until Friday, July 17th, 2009 at midnight PST.

Burn The Fat is often referred to as “the bible of fat burning nutrition” and if you don’t have a copy yet, then this is a better opportunity than ever because you will get the Operation Motivation as a bonus along with the Burn The Fat program.

This offer is almost over, so I highly recommend you visit the Burn The Fat website today and jump on this deal while you still can.

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle

Thinking About Buying Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle? WAIT! Find Out What You’re Getting Yourself Into BEFORE You Buy

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle makes some outrageous claims, has a bunch of larger-than-life testimonials, and costs more than your average hardcover book. When scrolling through the (very long) official website, your mind will be racing with questions wondering if it’s a scam or a legitimate program, because you have to admit, the concept behind the program is very intriguing.

It’s getting harder every day to distinguish the legitimate fat loss programs from the ones that are nothing but scams, so…

Before you decide to purchase Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle, let’s put it to the test.

First, the author, Tom Venuto has been featured on hundreds of websites as well as in magazines such as Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness, Ironman, Men’s Exercise and Men’s Fitness. Tom is also the author of a hardcover national best-seller, The Body Fat Solution (Penguin/Avery books). There was even a blurb about his latest book in Oprah Magazine.

Venuto is a bodybuilder – in fact, his whole system is based on “fat-burning secrets of bodybuilders and fitness models.”  Looking at his pictures, you can see that he is beyond good shape, the guy is jacked and six-packed.  You’d be tempted to scream “Steroids” except that Venuto says he’s lifetime natural and has competed in drug-tested competitions for more than 20 years.

After a little more research, you’ll find that Burn The Fat was released in 2002 and was the #1 e-book best-seller for 4 years in a row. Most Internet weight loss programs haven’t even been around that long, let alone topped the charts that long. Also, New York City publishers and major magazines like Men’s Fitness don’t give the time of day to fly-by-night Internet marketers, so there’s some credibility.

But the real question is, does the program actually work?

The claim made by Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is that bodybuilders and fitness models are the leanest athletes in the world. Venuto himself was 3.7% body fat at one point (note: on the day of a contest). Therefore, says Venuto, if you find out how bodybuilding, fitness and figure competitors get so lean and you do the same thing, you will get the same results. It makes sense. However, there’s no magic solution here.

From reading Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle, you learn that you won’t get 6-pack abs or a body like a fitness model by training a few minutes a day and eating junk. You learn that to get lean you have to change your lifestyle and adopt new habits to replace the old ones that made you fat. You learn that to get “ripped” it takes an even more regimented nutrition program.

When looking at the Burn The Fat website, you’ll see a home page plastered with testimonials from people of all ages. Since it’s impossible to be sure these testimonials/people are real, a little outside research is in order. What you’ll find on a web search is a free discussion forum called the Burn The Fat Facebook group, which has several thousand members who support each other to implement the program. You’ll also find several Burn The Fat Yahoo groups. There is also a paid online support community (sponsored by Venuto), called the Burn The Fat Inner Circle, with thousands of members using the Burn The Fat system. Membership to this site is optional and doesn’t come with the e-book.

With a little more online research, it’s easy to find positive reviews and before and after photos of people who have successful used Burn The Fat to lose weight. You’ll also find some YouTube videos and blogs devoted to chronicling the training journals and nutrition programs of fat burners.

It’s hard to dispute that Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is one of the most established fat loss programs online.  Not only is third party proof all over the Internet, this program has been around since 2002. A program just can’t survive that long on the web if there isn’t good word of mouth. And of course, we know this method has worked for bodybuilders for decades.

The final question then becomes, will it work for YOU?

Burn The Fat, Feed The  Muscle is a best seller and there’s proof that it works.  But it will probably appeal the most to a certain kind of person.  First, it takes effort and a significant time investment.  It trades focus, dedication and hard work to get significant, permanent and natural fat loss (as opposed to some rapid fat loss programs where you’re required to take drugs or supplements and where the weight is a lot more likely to come back).

Another thing to know is that the main focus of the e-book is on nutrition, and it requires counting calories and crunching numbers to create menu plans. There’s a lot of value in that kind of precision, but this approach may not be for everyone.  Some people prefer to just estimate portion sizes. Burn The Fat is probably ideal for people who need structure, enjoy planning and are detail-oriented (accountants, engineers, math buffs and other analytical types will be in seventh heaven). If you like to know WHY you’re doing something instead of just being told WHAT to do, you’ll appreciate the detail in the 300+ pages.  It’s definitely thorough. Encyclopedic even.

Here’s the bottom line:

If you want a quick fix weight loss solution, if you’re looking for what pill to take or if you’re not willing to exercise, then Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is probably not for you.

On the other hand, if you’ve tried all the diet trends and fads, if you really want to know the (sometimes uncomfortable) truth about fat loss and if you have the discipline to make lifestyle changes, then you’ll find Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle to be an excellent investment that delivers what it promises – you burn off the fat, you keep your muscle and you don’t have to starve yourself to do it.

It may not be for everyone, but it’s no scam. Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle is legitimate and effective. You can learn more at the official website at http://www.BurnTheFat.com

Burn The Fat 2.0

BFFM 2.0Date: Monday, July 14, 2008

Rumor Heard:

This comes straight from the horses’ mouth. Tom Venuto, the author of Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is said to be working on a new release to BFFM. Subject to change but the new eBook version will be named Burn The Fat 2.0 .

No details yet except it’s going to be a total makeover and true to Tom’s style, updated with the least information about nutrition. This is not related to the hardcover book soon to hit major book retailers by Tom. He’s said to be working on an actual book as well. This guy is one busy fitness expert.
