Muscle Milk Supplement Facts: (Photo of Supplement Label)

At 350 calories and 50g of protein per 2 scoops, this isn’t a gainer nor a meal replacement but a pre-workout BOMB that’s bound to cover all the bases. Although you can take it prior to sleeping. It’s lower in carbohydrates with only 18g per serving than it’s other brothers in the protein line. 50g of protein makes this one way to get a fair percentage of your daily protein in a typical, best of breed when it comes to taste, protein shake.

Of course you’ll get plenty of aminos and a Monster Milk Creatine Matrix to boot.

There’s way less fat at 9g than your Muscle Milk shakes. Monster Milk doesn’t appear to share that precise make up of it’s Muscle Milk brother.

5g of fiber?! In recent food shows, adding fiber to sports supplements is the rage. Many faithful bodybuilders who have plenty of fruits and veggies don’t have issues with fiber, but so many people do that adding 20% of your daily allowance without any negative side effects or ill tastes, sure is a good idea. I think I’ve even had a pudding at a recent show that had 5g of fiber and tasted just like chocolate pudding.

A picture is worth a thousands words.

But how to you take Monster Milk?

I recommend people FOLLOW the directions.

And there you have it… once again, the makers of Cytomax and Muscle Milk have released a new, higher protein with a different make up aimed at the bodybuilder, code name Monster Milk.

This looks like a solid mix. I’d like to get more than 12 servings per bottle. Under 200 lbs do you think 1 1/2 scoops would do it pre-workout?

I drank the hell out of Muscle Milk back in high school, trying to keep on my weight for football. Stuff tasted great, so I’m definitely looking forward to trying Monster Milk.

Looks like they’ve done a good job formulating it. Have you had the opportunity to try it?

@Eric – I’d focus more on whole foods (gotta say that). You say it’s not working… I can’t help you there bud.. but I can say that switching to Monster Milk which is just more protein and less calories, won’t be your answer. Do a search on this blog for “How to Gain Weight.” There’s a good write-up of the Top 6 things you can do. If you aren’t doing them.. start doing them. ;-)
